Mikumi National Park is called the small Serengeti - you know, after the world famous Serengeti National Park in the north of Tanzania, after which The lion king was drawn. Mikumi is much less known and lies in the south, but we found it really beautiful! The landscape is savanna, flanked by the mountains, and in the evening clouds, after the rain, with its fresh green colour of the rainy season, it looked just magnificent!
